From April 13 to 21, the 29^th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), hosted by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) of the Ministry of Education, China, was held in Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai and Guangzhou. As the only study abroad training base in Fujian Province authorized by CSCSE of the Ministry of Education, International College (IC), Xiamen University(XMU) attaches great importance to this event, and the leaders of IC led the team to participate in the exhibition in various participating cities

On April 12, Zhou Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee of IC, led a team to participate in the China Study Abroad Forum with the theme of "Facing Challenges, Creating a Shared Future: For a New Landscape of Study Abroad Education", and participated in the two sub-forum activities of "Seminar on New Channels for Talent Development and Employment to Promote China-Australia (Queensland) Cooperation"" and "Quality and Innovation - the Annual Exchange of Jointly Promoting SQA-AD Program". Discuss current international hot topics with experts and scholars, Chinese and foreign universities, etc. on-site, fully clash ideas and build consensus. The next day, Zhou Lei and the other delegates continued to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2024 (the 29^th) CIEET and Beijing Station activities.

On April 17, Professor Tao Tao led the team to participate in the activities of Wuhan. Xia Jianhui, Deputy Director of the CSCSE of the Ministry of Education, Zhou Qihong, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Education Department of Hubei Province, and Yu Haiying, Director of the International Department of the CSCSE of the Ministry of Education, came to our booth for guidance and exchange. Xia Jianhui pointed out that as a SQA-AD program institution and study abroad training base under the CSCSE, IC has always adhered to high quality education and achieved satisfactory results. He hoped that IC will not forget its original intention, persist in becoming bigger and stronger, and continue to play a leading role in the field of study abroad training.

During the exhibition, Gillian Hepburn, Director of International Department of Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), Aisling Kelly, International Regional Manager and Zhang Jinmin, China Regional Manager also came to our booth. Ms. Gillian Hepburn highly appreciated the 20-year achievement of the SQA AD program led by Dean Tao, and fully affirmed the long-term high quality of International College, Xiamen University.

On April 20, Zhang Xiaoyun, Vice Dean of IC led the team to participate in the CIEET in Shanghai. Mr. Wang Daquan, Director of the CSCSE of the Ministry of Education, Ms. Yang Xiaojing, Deputy Director of the International Department, and Mr. Lu Di, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Yinhong International Education Consulting Co., LTD., made a special trip to our booth for guidance and exchange. Zhang Xiaoyun introduced the history and achievements of IC and Wang Daquan expressed his appreciation and encouraged IC to make unremitting efforts to further promote the high-quality and connotative development of the study abroad program.

On April 21, Ma Xianghua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of IC, led a team to Guangzhou to participate in the closing station of the CIEET. Through face-to-face communication and interaction, students and parents at the scene have a deeper understanding of IC’s international school-running philosophy and characteristics, student training and teaching management.

As an annual exhibition sponsored by the CSCSE of the Ministry of Education of China, the CEET has been successfully held for 28 sessions since its first session in 1999. More than 220 universities and educational institutions from more than 20 countries and regions participated in the exhibition.
