Delegation Group from Middlesex University London Visited

 On the morning of November 14th, professor Tim Blackman, headmaster of Middlesex University London, Ms. WANG Xiaohui, China marketing director, and Ms. LEI Lei, manager of Shanghai office and so on, came to our International College to strengthen the communication and understanding between two educational institutions.

 


Ms. HUANG Guanhua, the vice dean of Overseas Education College/ International College and Professor YANG Shuai, leader of professional teaching and research group, met Principle Tim and the delegation group. Two sides had a conference in room B509 of Kun Luan Building. Other related teachers in charge of admission department and project department also accompanied the conference.

 

In the conference, Vice Dean Huang Guanhua sincerely greeted the visit of the group led by Principle Tim and briefly introduced the basic information of our school and the developments of cooperative projects related with our college. She pointed out that as one of the cooperative universities in XMU-DBS Sino- Foreign Educational Cooperation and one of the most welcomed educational institutions where students in our college choose to continue their undergraduate courses every year at the same time, Middlesex University London had been in good cooperative relations with our college all the time, therefore, we expected further cooperation on 2+2 Undergraduate Program, 1+1 Bachelor Program and so on between two sides. Principle Tim showed sincere appreciation for college’s strongly support for cooperative projects and inquired details about feedbacks on teaching cooperation in project, students’ communication and studying abroad services and so on. He said that he would further increase support on the cooperative programs and welcomed more students from International College to come to England for further study on behalf of Middlesex University London.


 


Middlesex University London, the sixth largest public school, which is located in London has a Business College which ranked the top three in the election of “The most popular business schools” among London areas and is also one of the “Top 50 business schools in Europe”. Last year, more than twenty students from our college to Middlesex University London to continue their undergraduate courses all graduated successfully, among which 40% students gained first-class degrees and successfully applied for graduate study in prestigious University like University of Glasgow, Liverpool University, Loughborough University and so on.
