On the afternoon of April 12, a special recruitment seminar of China Merchants Bank Xiamen Branch for students from International College and College of the Environment & Ecology was successfully held in the B103 lecture hall of Jinquan Building. Yang Yimiao, General Manager of the Human Resources Department of China Merchants Bank, and Guo Jing, president of Jiangtou sub-branch, attended the presentation, which was hosted by Chen Xiangliu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of International College.

Liu Tiantian, the speaker of China Merchants Bank, first introduced the basic information of China Merchants Bank's operation model, platform construction, and talent strategy, and gave detailed answers to the students’ concern, such as recruitment positions, salary and benefits, school recruitment process and resume submission.

Yang Yimiao, the General Manager discussed with students how to make better career planning around the theme of career choice. Li Guanhuang, an alumnus of XMU-DBS program of International College in 2014, and currently a staff member of China Merchants Bank Xiamen Branch, also actively shared his career development in China Merchants Bank to his junior schoolmates, encouraging knowledgeable talents to join China Merchants Bank.

After the presentation, the students took the initiative to communicate with the HR of China Merchants Bank to learn more about the company's employment needs, career development, internship, and other related information.

The students said they had gained a lot from attending the seminar. Xiao Xinru, a student of XMU-DBS program in 2017, said: “This special presentation is a great opportunity for students who are interested in working in bank. I can feel the vitality of China Merchants Bank in terms of salary level and employee benefits, and the importance it attaches on young talents.” Xia Mengyan, a student of XMU-DBS program in 2017, also shared his own gains: “The highlights of China Merchants Bank’s campus recruitment, such as its horizontal and vertical training system, are very attractive to me! It is recommended that students can attend more presentations to understand the recruitment needs of different fields and collect information well."

Li Haoxuan, a student of XMU-DBS program in 2019, mentioned: “As a junior student, although I am not a freshman, I also need to do my career planning in advance. This presentation provided me with a good opportunity to understand in advance. I once worked as an intern in a sub-branch of China Merchants Bank, and deeply appreciated the importance that China Merchants Bank attaches to customers and its perfect service system. If there is an opportunity in the future, I will give priority to submit my resume to China Merchants Bank, hoping to become a member of China Merchants Bank."
