On 4th June, Boya lecture series six themed as “ Law: a vital part of the development of modern China” was held by professor Ian Duncan from Australia at a lecture hall in Zhangzhou campus. Dean and deputy dean of our college attended in this lecture.

Professor Ian Duncan elaborated how do western people treat the function of law in developing China, the meaning of China joined in WTO and the challenges that Chinese government faces nowadays.

In the end of this lecture, professor Ian Duncan answered questions that students asked carefully, and students obtained not only the knowledge of law but also the academic English vocabulary of law.
