On the afternoon of April 1, the 2019 International College's pre-trip training meeting successfully held in the B102 multi-functional hall of Kunlun Building. This activity has been strongly supported by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and more than 20 foreign cooperative universities. More than 300 students accompanied with parents, who are going to continue their studies in overseas universities this September participated in the meeting.

During the pre-trip training meeting, the teachers from the working group of Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange conducted on-site training and guidance for students on a variety of issues, such as the application and procedures for studying abroad, the other relevant preparations before going abroad, as well as the entry registration, the renewal of the visa application, the official recognition of academic degrees, employment of settlers, and the preferential policies after returning from abroad.

Up to now, most of the students who are going to study abroad this year have applied for several foreign cooperative universities and successfully obtained the qualified admission documents. After the seminar, the students consulted with teachers from foreign university about the professional situation and requirements of the colleges, to make a thorough understanding in order to further clarify their intention to continue to apply and study.

Recruitment office staffs from more than 20 foreign universities attended the meeting, including Hell University, Bradford University, De Montfort University, and the University of Central Queensland in Australia. They patiently answered the students' questions and introduced the daily life and study in foreign universities. According to the situations of the consulting students, they also put forward a lot of useful suggestions for students about undergraduate convergence courses and master's studies planning.

By holding this activity every year, students not only got opportunities of face-to-face consultation with foreign universities, but also detailed and clear information about universities and authoritative information on studying abroad, thus making full preparations for the upcoming sequel to study abroad.
