pubdate: 2011/07/21 views:

Introduction: Hu Bin, studied at Zhujing High School; enrolled in foundation to master program in 2007 and majored in international trade and business in 2007; entered the senior year at De Montfort University as a business management major in 2010.

Q: How’s your study at De Montfort University?

Hu: You need to communicate more with local students in order to better blend in with the new life. Don’t be afraid that they will ignore you. They are actually really friendly and they like making friends. Attending more activities organized by the university or friends can be very useful. You can better understand the lifestyle of English people. If you like football, you can go to pub on weekends with friends. English people are enthusiastic about football.

Q: How does studying abroadaffect you?

Hu: The biggest effect is that I’m more independent. I now know the meaning of “bear hardships and stand hard work”. Many people think going abroad is happy and comfortable. Only when you experience it can you know that it’s not at all. It can be said that studying abroad is to learn to live with your hands.
