October 29, the First International School of Art and Design Exhibition and the University of Southampton Works of Art and Design, and 2008 students' works exhibition in Zhangzhou Campus Library opened on the third floor; the exhibition will be October 29 to November 20.

The exhibition showcased some works of 12 students of year 2008 in the Southampton & International College of Art and Design Project from September 2008 to July 2009, including design drawings, design color, photography, and handicrafts. Among them, the Sun Shengxuan person, Hongwan Ling light, Wang Xiaoting's Spring, Wang Zhaoyu Spring tour Ji Wei of FASHION and Chen Qingfeng's book house of gold and other paintings have been selected for the third  Chinese Students' art Exhibition.

Work fully embodies the art and design student projects' inspired and artistic sentiment. Chen Qingfeng works through books and expressed her understanding of human relations, thinking of pressure, fear, aging and other issues.  Wang Xiaoting works revealed a very strong stubborn resistance, and her tagline which is because of stubborn, just for fun ; the students also work in an abstract form of expression of the Yongding ancient houses.

Exhibition of works are colorful, realistic modeling of flowers particularly attractive to the eye, these flowers are the handcrafts that Yang Jiawei used his free time to Making these handcrafts is his hobby after school, so he can enjoy the relaxing time to make them slowly. These flowers are made of dough.  This material will be dried out naturally, and not easy to deform for cleanup.

Art students said that in the past more than a year's time, they have learned from painting to three-dimensional structure, from figurative to abstract to obtain a lot of expertise knowledge. Solid professional training for their future in art and design industry has laid a great foundation for their future.

In the international college, Art and Design project of University of Southampton will recruit from fall 2008. There are currently two generations of students. 08 students will study in Britain next year at University of Southampton to continue their last two years of undergraduate courses.
